By now all of us have heard that India has sent a spacecraft to Mars.
Actually the mission actually began on 24th September, 2013 when the spacecraft called Mangalyaan was launched by the Indian Space Organization. Just a few days ago, the Mars Orbiter Mission as it is called was successful and returned back pictures of the red planet’s surface.
The Mangalyaan has five instruments that it has taken with it that will provide more particular details about Mars to the Indians.
Why is India Sending a Craft to Mars?
One is forced to think and ask why?
India is a country that has a huge divide between the rich and the poor. The gap is so huge that on one end there is a person who is among the richest on the planet and then there are those who start and end their lives in the sewers and slums!
So why would a country so poor neglect its own people and go for something that doesn’t apparently have any real benefit to them in the near future.
Well, like I said ‘apparently’ there is no benefit. But if you look closely, there is a huge edge that this trip will give the Indians in the field of science and technology, especially rocketry.
This mission is basically a test and demonstration of the Indians’ scientific prowess.
Let me explain…. When India tested its nuclear devices in the 90’s, Pakistan followed suit within a week or so. This clearly indicates that Pakistan had the capability to explode a device but the test was necessary because it then provided a truck load of data that must have helped in various other fields and also in refining the nuclear capability.
It is the same with the Indian Mars mission. Unless they are planning to send a Marawari to set up a chai shop on Mars for the International Mars Mission, the purpose is not just getting the spacecraft to Mars but to take advantage of the learning and research during the mission.
So What?!
As Pakistani’s we should take this as a big deal. The Indian Mars mission clearly shows that they are ahead of us in terms of science and technology. This is very worrying because India is, after all our biggest threat.
It was the same situation with our nuclear program. After India had tested its first nuclear device in the 70’s, Pakistan kick started its program and it took us till 1998 to carry out our own tests.
I am sure the think tanks in our corridors of power are analyzing this and maybe trying to do something similar, but it is high time we take initiatives instead of always being reactive otherwise the repercussions could be disastrous.
This sentence is what pulls pakistan down.

India moved on long back and that’s why we are in space.
Pakistan didn’t move on and that’s why it’s obsessed with whatever India does.
Educate your people. Elect responsible leaders. Do your home cleaning before cleaning your neighbourhood.
Change you hatred filled history textbooks which are carefully administered by your military and dictators, to imbibe in the young minds of your nation, about how great they are.
And make some history to be proud of in future.

What a stupid article nothing is true in it. First of all Indian mars mission was done because we Indians love science it’s done because of our curiosity to known the unknown by us or penalty we don’t want to depend on one nation USA for space exploration. We love space exploration as well. And this foolish article says that mission is profitable for rocketry.. Lol what rocketry? We used a PSLV launcher not a GSLV. It’s not about rocketry india has far enhanced powerful rockets already. Mission is a scientific mission main aim is exploring mars and finding traces of methane there to know if life ever existed there or not. Such missions needs brains. And what rubbish comments india doesn’t has 40%poverty. India has around 28%poverty which was decreased to 18%and this year it will decrease to 15%. As Indian economy this year is only economy in while world with positive growth after petrol prices fell. We Indians love science. It were Indians who invented numerals positive and negative numerals and they place value system for higher numbers by inventing number zero which was speed by arabs they called it Hindu numerals they converted it into Arabic and passed it to Europe. Without numbers there would not have been any Worth full science or maths and we would have been still in stone age period lol. And there are many higher Indian contribution in maths due to numbers and place value system zero it’s like we Indians are the case which invented maths binary digits concept was first invented by pingalacharya around 4 th century bc. Google it. As well as plastic surgery originated from India. ‘Sushruta’is known as father of surgery. In his 4 th century book sushruta samhita there’s description of procedures of hundreds of surgeries and surgical tools instruments which are used. Ayurveda is first advanced school of medicine. In colonial period British physicians spent 20 years in India learning local rhino plasty methods
well.if india dies with hunger.we shouldnt be happy.but if they do some space programe than we should be ashamed.we got every thing to become the best space explorores of the world.but I Know Pakistan is never in the middle.either its on the top or at the bottom.if we start a space programe we would certainly reach the top.
What’s a big deal in this if India made its foot prints on Mars? Does India plan to over throw all its billions of Indians on Mars? Or does India want to import its entire rich people on Mars? India is a country which covers 41% of global hunger and makes its citizens to live under below poverty level. Indians are living without basic needs but Government prioritize to explore on Mars rather concerning for own people.

This is actually what would happen in the coming time. India’s military and space developments would be answered by Pakistan and China ingeniously. A state where people are dying because of famine, they dont have proper clothes to wear, clean water to drink and proper toilets, reaching space is not an achievement rather it added fuel to fire for all the suffering people residing in India. For any country to be developed, setting up of social infrastructure is the main pillar then rest comes.
