Legendary batsman with exactly 100 International Centuries, Sachin Tendulkar, has spoken ahead of the first test match between Pakistan and England which will start from 14th July 2016 at Lord’s Cricket Ground. While appreciating Pakistan’s bowling attack, he said that it would be important to see how Pakistan batsmen will cope England bowling in testing conditions.

When the former Indian star was asked to reveal the favorite team for the test series, he answered:

“Well, I think it will be a great series. Pakistan always had a good bowling attack. This time also their bowling attack looks good. It’s going to be a competitive series between two countries which people will enjoy and cherish”

Former Indian batsman was vary of the fact about how Pakistani batsmen will fare against English bowling lineup. He also believes that English batsmen will be tested too in their conditions. He added:

“A lot will depend on Pakistani batsmen since English bowlers will test their batting skills and occasionally even English batsmen will be tested by their [Pakistani] bowlers”

“As a cricketer I want to see cricket played in the right spirit and if the series between England and Pakistan will be played in the correct spirit then people will follow cricket, people will love cricket” Sachin Tendulkar added.

When the star batsman was asked to comment on Muhammed Amir who is making a comeback in Test Cricket after almost 6 years, Sachin Tendulkar lavished praise for the young fast bowler and expects him to do well. He stated that:

“Amir has always been a good bowler. He has got a lot of skills. If he gets his rhythm right, he will be able to do something special against England”

Apparently, Sachin Tendulkar sounded as if he had no issues with Amir’s comeback. When asked if Amir deserved another chance at the International level, Tendulkar replied:

“The guys who were in a position to penalize him already penalized him. He has served his sentence [of 5 years] and now he is back in the field after doing what he was asked to do. I think it is fine”

Sachin Tendulkar also praised Muhammed Amir’s matured version after admitting that he as seen couple of interviews of Amir especially the last one that he gave to Mike Atherton after coming to England. He said that:

“I find Amir as a matured guy with a balanced head now and that is something which he will reflect on the field”

The master batsman with over 33,000 runs also acknowledged Alastair Cook’s efforts in batting and wished him all the best in his career ahead. Little master also congratulated English captain on becoming the 12th man to score 10,000 Test runs lately against Sri Lanka.
