In a World Series of Fighting Global Championship (WSOF-GC) bout, Pakistan’s Uloomi Karim Shaheen knocked down India’s Yadwinder Singh in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines on Saturday.

25-year old Uloomi Karim is an MMA fighter who is from Gilgit-Baltistan. He was declared winner in a unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27 and 29-28) after spanking Indian fighter to earn a famous win.

At present, Uloomi Karim is one of country’s top fighters. He also holds the Bantam Weight (61) Championship Belt of Under Ground Battle (UGB).

One of Pakistan’s another MMA fighter, Ahmed Mujtaba also participated in the event. He brought laurels for Pakistan after beating Philippines’ Neil Laranow in the first round through a triangle choke. Remarkably, it took him just one minute and eight seconds to finish the fight.

Both Uloomi Karim and Ahmed Mujtaba are taking part in global MMA competitions since the last 5 years.

Uloomi’s brother is positive about the future

Uloomi’s elder brother, Ahtesham Karim stated his happiness on Uloomi’s success. He runs the Fight Fortress Club (FFC) in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad. He is confident and hopeful about his brother to do well in the upcoming matches and continue the winning streak.

Ahtesham also believed that both Uloomi and Mujtaba are in terrific form. According to him, both fighters are well capable of challenging any fighter at the event.
