On 4th November, Rear Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi took charge as Commander Coast (COMCOAST) from Vice Admiral Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani. The ceremony was held at PNS Qasim, Karachi. The officer was commissioned in Operations Branch of Pakistan Navy in 1986. In a recent development, China will provide 8 submarines to Pakistan Navy over a period of next 11 years. Four submarines will be constructed in China and they would be provided to Pakistan in the mid of 2022-23.
